I only got alpha, beta, gamma, delta, theta and omega - I knew these because of Maths and Physics (forgot sigma). I typed 'ypsilon' as it is a German letter (I'm learning German) but didn't bother to change the first letter although I initially intended to!
The distinction between modern and ancient Greek alphabet makes absolutely no sense because ancient and modern Greek language have the same letters.
An explanation that "Anglo-Saxon pronounciation and writing is required (even though some letters have a totally weird writing) " would be far better!!
i am Greek and didnt find all! check your spelling please. There is no Mu or Nu letters in the greek alphabet. There is Mi and Ni. Also there is Ypsilon -for heavens sake, the Ypsilon letter without Y in your spelling!! And there is Taf (surely not tau)
Never had a greek course, just the students who had greek were singing the alphabet, so I had it phonetically at least, I just had to find the right way to write it
I had to memorize these in my European history class in high school. Surprised that I still remember them all. The teacher taught us to say "iota kappa lambda mu nu" to the tune of shave and a haircut.
in the US, you would do well on this quiz as either a frat-boy or a math/physics wizard. Quite the opposite ends of the spectrum (very little overlap there, ha)
I'm a little mad and learnt the russian, greek and hebrew alphabet for 'fun' XD.
Who would write Y using a U? Seriously?

I really want to know since Quizmaster doesn't.

The others from my brain: Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, Eta, Xi, Psi.

Only one I didn't get was omicron. I guess it's not used in either.
A joke among engineering students is "I never knew I was going to learn a new alphabet."
RIGHT???
