The group that performs "Jump" is spelled "Kriss Kross." Just thought you'd wanna know so other people don't smash their computers after not getting them.

Jeez. If you don't know the answers fine. Don't blame it on the length of the quiz. You've done plenty of other quizzes as long or longer, and enjoyed them.

Sorry, dad. I tried again and went until the time ran out. I got Gloria Estefan and somehow remembered the name of the guy who did the cover of the song from Aladdin (Peabo Bryson), but missed Whitney Houston and got my boy bands mixed up so typed in Backstreet Boys instead of New Kids on the Block. oh well.

Boy bands all pretty much sound the exact same anyway.

I got 72/98. The late-90s stuff was a breeze; the early-90s stuff was much harder for me. Also - Tommy Page?! As in, the cheesy dude who came to Stephanie's birthday party on "Full House"? Was he a real performer? Oh lord.

This takes me back to the days of riding the bus home from school, listening to Baby One More Time, Genie in a Bottle, and Truly Madly Deeply on the radio, and wanting to fling myself out the emergency exit to end the pain.

Billboard charts are weird that way. A lot of pop stuff that nobody remembers 2 years after it comes out hits #1, and a lot of classic stuff that endures for decades either never charts at all, or doesn't reach the top.

There was a lot of good music coming out in the 90s but almost none of it is here. Nine Inch Nails. Nirvana. A Perfect Circle. Pearl Jam. Soundgarden. Bush. Metallica. Massive Attack. Weird Al.
I guess this is when I started hating "pop" music.

75. Not bad. I couldn't remember the artist for the Macarena and it was the popular song when I was in high school. Kept thinking Los Lobos. I typed Kelly. Thinking R. Kelly might be the answer and it wasn't for the one I was thinking of but it was for another one and it didn't count it.
