Never heard of George Vancouver, but it was the only "V" city I could think of in the Pac Northwest. I learn something new everyday doing these quizzes.

I tried to type in Groucho but it did not work. Had to type in Marx in order to get it to work.

Interesting fact that can help with spelling-- Jonathan is not a derivation of John, but rather of the name Nathan.

Only got 6. All the ones I got were called George. Although I should have got Genghis Khan.

Is Genghis Khan a name. I'm pretty sure is Temujin's title.

This may be a reflection of my own biases and interests (because I only missed these two), but I'm surprised more people knew Ivanisevic and Norman than Zhukov. I've never heard of the golfer or tennis player before, but with all the history and WW2 buffs on the site (I thought), seems like Zhukov should be pretty well known. Most decorated officer in Soviet/Russian history.

Not to buy too much into the hype but you could argue the man did more than any other to defeat Hitler.

Yeah. I was somewhat surprised by that as well. I expected Zhukov to be among the low answers, but to be so much lower than the president and tennis player is weird, i think.

Vitus Gerulaitis also had a powerful serve. I kept thinking I was spelling it wrong.

Pretty sure Vitus Gerulaitis doesn't have the initials "GI."
