I don't think there should be a "u" in the spelling. I've checked several places including the dealerships in Los Angeles and Dallas and can't find it spelled with a "u" anywhere.

It's "Lederhose" in German, but English uses the plural "lederhosen" (similar to how we say "pants," "trousers," and "shorts.") Since this quiz is in English, "lederhosen" is perfectly acceptable.
Nevertheless, it would be nice to accept "Lederhose" as well. When the obvious German word did not work I started to try leather pants etc. (which worked neither...)
You know, this might be the first time I've ever gotten "limbo" correct on a quiz. I know the game, but I always forget that it's also a synonym for Purgatory.
