Have spent the majority of my time the past seven years in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, also considerable time in Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Israel, Turkey... never saw anybody refer to Ramzan..

Rue (as in McClanahan) is used in cooking. And the proper spelling of the river is Rhein, which should be accepted.
