   Political Party Colour Scheme:
      Whig (1678–1859)
      Tory (1678–1834)
      Conservative (1834/1912–present)
      Peelite (1846–1859)
      Liberal (1859–1988)
      Labour (1900–present)
      National Labour 1931–1945)
The term 'Prime Minister' did not come into official usage until the beginning of the 20th century (December 1905), though the essential rank and function of the Prime Minister within the Parliament of the United Kingdom can be traced back to 1721.
Valid type-ins include specific peerage titles (such as earldoms and dukedoms) as these are often used within literature to refer to historical Prime Ministers.
