We should find a way to stop the population in these countries from increasing otherwise humankind will be in trouble.

Their cumulative population is still less than that of india...

More development aid and a less conservative catholic church would be a great start. Although projections are already looking good. Most population growth is just due to people growing old.

Not that they're probably accurate, but you should see the projections for 2050.

The population of Uganda has just about doubled in the last 20 years. Those 2050 projections are looking better and better.

How about Even smaller Rwanda and Burundi. Around 10 million each. ON that small area. Lesotho too

Actually, Uganda is just smaller than the UK, which has about 1.5 times the population.

Always strange to remember that Nigeria, not particularly big for an African country, has such a huge population. Probably because many larger ones (Sudan, DRC) have large swathes of desert or rainforest which are low density, but still.

Agreed. Whenever I miss a question I also revoke the answer's existence. I have been doing much better on Jetpunk quizzes since Harry Potter stopped existing.

You’re the first person I’ve seen to apply bad evolution logic to countries. “If humans came from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys?” became “If South Sudan came from Sudan, then Sudan no longer exists,” QED.

Humans didn't come from monkeys. Both monkeys and humans have a common ancestor. But that is not the case for Sudan, as it didn't become North Sudan.

I find it so strange how Sudan can support such a large population. Looking Google Maps, it all seems to be just barren desert.
