Not that they're probably accurate, but you should see the projections for 2050.

The population of Uganda has just about doubled in the last 20 years. Those 2050 projections are looking better and better.

Always strange to remember that Nigeria, not particularly big for an African country, has such a huge population. Probably because many larger ones (Sudan, DRC) have large swathes of desert or rainforest which are low density, but still.

Agreed. Whenever I miss a question I also revoke the answer's existence. I have been doing much better on Jetpunk quizzes since Harry Potter stopped existing.

It's still a country - South Sudan has recently gained independence

its still a country. The name Sudan remained and the other one who become independent is South Sudan. lol

You’re the first person I’ve seen to apply bad evolution logic to countries. “If humans came from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys?” became “If South Sudan came from Sudan, then Sudan no longer exists,” QED.

I find it so strange how Sudan can support such a large population. Looking Google Maps, it all seems to be just barren desert.
