It seems like Peyton Manning has a positive effect on teams...also, I was amazed at the absence of the New York Giants.

Remember that year that Brady missed - when the Patriots went 11-5 under Matt Cassell? And remember that year Peyton missed, when the Colts were the worst team in the league (a 2-14 season, after 9 straight double-digit win seasons)? I'm sure there's a lesson in this if I just look hard enough.

Though the Giants won two Super Bowls since 2000, their records in those seasons were 10-6 and 9-7, and their median number of regular season wins since 2000 iis exactly eight. Very average.

I like the Patriots so I'm not surprised the Giants aren't on the list. I'm not bandwagon, I live in New England

Why would the giants be on here? They won the super bowl barely and haven't been good since then and weren't good before that.

The Giants have won 4 Super Bowls which matches the Patriots and Packers. They played in 3 Super Bowls during the time period targeted by this quiz and won 2 of them. Sounds "good" to me.

But its since 2000 and they've won two since then, and their regular season record has been garbage basically every other season.

The Giants never win unless they feel like beating the Patriots. So no, they don't feel like they need to beat them very often.

So the Patriots' deflating footballs gets your moral outrage up. How about the Steelers' offensive line in the 1970s pioneering the usage of steroids, which was the worst-kept secret in the NFL at the time? Does that make you discount those 4 Super Bowls they won?

Must not have been too widespread. I haven't heard anything about that (Steeler's steroid use). And I follow the NFL pretty close.

It appears to be the Minuteman Statue in Lexington, MA. "There is some debate over whether the statue was originally intended to depict a common Minuteman soldier or their leader, Captain John Parker. Generally, it seems to be accepted as Captain Parker." Source.

Broncos were great with Manning, but otherwise they've had a lot of seasons in the 7-to-9 wins range (plus a few good years and a couple clunkers). I bet they're not far off the list, though.
