There are a lot of desserts served with ice cream, so that clue is a bit vague. My first thought was "apple pie".

Mine was "Alaska", as in "Baked Alaska", then "apple pie". If you said something like a phrase meaning a dessert is served with ice cream, it might be clearer. Good quiz, though.
