Losing Vice Presidential candidates in U.S. Elections 1900-1944
These people were the losing Republican or Democrat candidate for Vice President in the elections between 1900 & 1944.
The 1912 Rep. candidate listed here died a week before the election.
His Electoral College votes were assigned to an alternate Rep. V.P. candidate.
Also, Republicans finished third in 1912 election, behind Progressive (Bull Moose) party.
