Countries by Native German Speakers with Exceptions

The vast majority of native German speakers live in Europe, but can you name the countries OUTSIDE Europe with the most native German speakers?
According to Ethnologue (2016) via Wikipedia.
Wikipedia notes that the figures from the source table should not be summed up, as there is likely significant overlap. While true, this has been done regardless for the sake of making a good quiz.
*800,000 people of German descent live in this country, across both continents it spans, but the number of native speakers is unknown. It is likely far lower.
Includes both Standard German and German varieties (for e.g. Low German)
