But there was only one widely know as THE Queen (even here in France). Just to quote Wikipedia: "In the English-speaking world, The Queen most commonly refers to Elizabeth II"
I like this quizz, but I don't get what the elephant-flag is about at the Lincoln-disguise.
Also shouldn't the mermaid be Arielle rather than Ariel?
The elephant-flag did cost me the 100% at my first try, since I thought about Lincoln but didn't type it in because I was still trying to figure out the meaning of the flag...
That is the German spelling. For Germans, Ariel is a major laundry detergent brand present in almost every commercial break on TV, at least when the movie came out, so I guess they wanted to avoid confusion and modified the mermaid's name.
Myself being German, I would have guessed Campino for the Pikachu. That's a famous punk musician here, but you need to look for photos of his younger self to see the similarity ;)
An American flag would be significantly better. It would help international quizzers who don't know the elephant symbol. It also avoids using a symbol popularized years after Lincoln's death to connect him to a modern party whose ideals have ... changed ... since his time.
I am surprised that 47% got Hercule Poirot, I got almost all of them but missed this one, no clue who this is. I thought I should know this since he was holding a Belgian flag and I have been living in Belgium for over three years and I grew up in neighboring countries in Europe.
It seems that the fictional character on the album cover is actually A.Sane very often confused with Stardust. It seems fair enough to me to allow both characters as answers since they are mistakenly confused in most pop-culture sources.
I am nevertheless aware that it is an amalgam that will make real fans scream!
Yes, it seems that is right. I thought it was still Ziggy, and Bowie himself explained that Aladdin is an evolution of Ziggy. Anyway, thanks for accepting those type-ins.
Please add more time. It's not like a states or countries quiz where you need to make sure there's not time to enter every possibility, and it's a quiz where you want to take your time and admire the work as you go.
Clever quiz! Robocop by far the hardest for me. It's not nearly as distinctive as the others, maybe it's just me. And I'd second the request for more time. Not a lot but another minute would be handy.
Damn! Pinocchio looked SO much like Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece here - took me a while. The only big difference, apart from the nose, really is that the band on the hat has a different colour (red for Luffy, blue for Pinocchio). Gave it some challenge though; great quiz!
Would it be possible to accept "The Queen" and "Captain Jack Sparrow" as type-ins as well?
These type-ins have been added.

As for the mermaid, the version you are suggesting does not seem right to me. I never found this spelling anywhere.
