I've only seen the 20th century author written as Esterhazy (without the z) (correctly with the accent as you have it, I just do not have on keyboard), likewise other members of that family. Pronounced like in other languages sz/sh/accented s, but written s.

Thank you, it was my error. I went to school in Hungary so I know correct spelling.
