It is a nice quiz, but it's so English dominated that it would have worked better to just make it an medieval English quiz.

(28) one of the claimants is known as Harold Godwinson, who is your Earl Harold, but people don't call him that in the UK. Likewise Harald Hardrada over 'King Hardrada'. I think the correct answer rate is so low because Edward the Confessor left a number of claimants, of whom Harold Godwinson triumphed over Harald Hardrada and then lost to William, but was king for most of the year 1066, so that he is a more obvious answer to the question.

Hi, nice quiz ! It seems that one answer is wrong though, William the Conqueror wasn’t killed in battle. Sources say he either died of illness or by falling from his horse. I thought maybe it was a confusion with Harold, who was killed at Hastings while fighting William ?
