Largest Landlocked Cities with a Map

Can you name the 30 largest cities of the world that do not border an ocean?
Small rivers and lakes will not count as being part of the ocean. The Mediterranean, Black, Baltic, ect seas will all be considered to be part of the ocean while the Great Lakes are not.

Great Quiz! I tried to make a quiz for the biggest cities not located on any major water bodies but it is quite difficult to decide what counts as "major".

Why didn't you add London to this Quiz? Seems like a similar situation as Hangzhou to me and in that case there is actually a bay named after the city...

I also think Riyadh should be included.

You are right, I probably missed a ton of cities as I had to go through the "most populated cities" list manually and look for the landlocked cities.

I'm not too sure about London but I'll add it in any way.

(Sorry for the extremely, extremely late reply, I remember seeing this and completely forgot about it ;-; )

Hangzhou agglomeration is clearly coastal if you click the icon on cp.de, unless you call that a small river

Honestly I think cities at rivers within a few kilometers near the coast is not landlocked
