I'm embarrassed that I did so poorly. I'm a professional musician. Just assigned a Gliere prelude to a student recently; also Prokofiev's charming "Rain and the Rainbow." I teach Kabalevsky frequently....forgot them all!

I suggest you accept Rachmaninoff as alternate spelling. Also, wondering if you might want to retitle your quiz to begin with "classical composers'.....as it would then come up on a search. I've not seen this one before and I search frequently. I have 30 quizzes online, most on classical music. Your quiz deserves more attention!

Cesar Cui was half french, half lithuanian.

He didnt consider himself a russian (composer), but indeed spent most of his life in russia.

Aram Khachaturian clearly was not russian.
