100 Different Percussion Instruments

Percussion is a very prominent family of musical instruments, and it's probably the largest family. Anything can technically be percussion but I'm only counting instruments from my sources
My sources include this book: https://www.amazon.com/Scoring-Percussion-Instruments-Family-CD-ROM/dp/0739052799, as well as multiple YouTube videos
Note: Not all of these are technically percussion instruments, take the brake drum for example (it's a car part) but instruments like those can commonly be used in percussion sections

If you're wondering, the difference between a gong and a tam tam is a tam tam is a non-pitched, metal instrument that is struck off center, a tam-tam is usually flat.

A gong is pitched and has a raised area in the center

No swishknocker cymbal or trash cans. Sad. Also, I wouldn’t consider a practice pad an instrument
