You have misspelt French Guiana - which makes me wonder how 50% got it right!! Only the independent nation of Guyana (formerly British Guiana) uses a "y". Also note Kiribati, Tuvalu, Niue, Reunion, Zanzibar and Northern Marianas are only associate members of relevant regional confederatons.
Hey, thanks for helping, I spent all my life thinking it was an Y, not an I. Maybe this is because of former British Guyana. Anyway, I think it's fair to accept both cases from now on. About the other issue, you might wanna have another look on "associate member" meaning and research a little more on these cases you pointed out.
