Top Cities with 4 Syllables or More

Find the urban areas in the world (among the top 500) with at least 4 syllables or more!
This is the first quiz I've ever made so I apologize in advance for any problems!; states/provinces provided for the US and India
Source: I just used this for the list of cities, https://www.jetpunk.com/user-quizzes/1260664/500-largest-cities-in-the-world-on-a-map , which is ultimately derived from citypopulation.de
Wow, a population quiz without an aversion to high city density without a single city from China!
Multi-word cities fair game; some cities excluded due to lack of clarity, such as Washington D.C., Tbilisi, and Mbuji-Mayi

Lianyungang has 3 syllables: Lian-Yun-Gang

Yeah, I relied on the number of chinese characters in order to determine the number of syllables. The fourth character was actually a 'shi' at the end.

There are few 4-character cities in China, such as Urumqi, Hohhot, Qiqihar, but these names are not originated from the Chinese language and hence fewer than 4 syllables in English.

Does Brasilia really have 4 syllables?

I'd add Chelyabinsk to the dispute list

Yes, I will delete both of these. I realized there is more ambiguity in such things than I realized in the beginning. I thought that the 'ia' in Brasilia was 2 different syllables and the same for the 'ya' in Chelyabinsk. I'll update these.

Shouldn't NYC be here? What am I missing?

Level 62

I didn't include NYC because it when the 'City' isn't included it is only 2 syllables. In hindsight though, I will add it when I make the SVG map quiz of this.

I know that you are pleased to avoid any Chinese answers to this. However, what about Shijiazhuang?

Shijiazhuang has 3 syllables, 'shi', 'jia', and 'zhuang'
