Do not waste time doing this quiz. Republic Congo and Cabo Verde are ridiculous as the only acceptable answers for Cape Verde and Republic of Congo/Congo Republic/Congo-Brazzaville, making the quiz impossible. And Greenland is simply not an independent sovereign state, it is a country under the crown of Denmark, similar to Wales/UK, Polynesia/France and Aruba/Netherlands.... none of which are mentioned here
There is another quiz like this one but it gives you a map and will just accept the word "congo" and fill in both the Republic of the Congo and the D.R.C
Jetpunk considers there are 196 countries in the world, the 193 UN members and Kosovo, Taiwan and the Vatican. To make 197 I could see justification for Palestine or Somaliland or indeed both. But Greenland? NO WAY, that is simply wrong unless you include all the other countries that form a part of sovereign states (Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten, Faroe Islands, Aland Islands, Polynesia, Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland).
I liked the quiz although I think it has a little too much time. I don't think Greenland should be on this list. If anything deserved to be on the quiz it would be Palestine because the UN actually recognizes it as a country, unlike Greenland. But still a great quiz.
What is "Republic Congo"?
