Definitely, I’ve realized in doing this that a map is not a great way of showing languages, so it’s important to have a lot of context with the map.

The eastern parts of Belgium are called the "German speaking communities", but the languages spoken here are actually Ripuarian and Luxembourgish as well as transitional dialects between those languages and Dutch/Limburgish called 'Low Dietsch' (which I did not include, if I had, these maps could never be accurate enough as in reality every town has its own way of speaking). What I am saying is that there are no communities in Eastern Belgium which traditionally speak Standard German.
