Extinct Animal Alphabet Quiz

Try to name an extinct animal for each letter of the alphabet. All animals included in this quiz are ones that are known to have gone extinct during or after the ice age.
Verifying an animal to be truly extinct can be difficult, since in order to do so, one must prove that said animal does not currently exist anywhere at all, and animals have been known to have been miscategorized as extinct in the past. Therefore, in the interest of avoiding spreading misinformation, I would like to clarify that some of the animals on this list are presumed extinct, and therefore are likely to be truly extinct, but may also still be extant (non-extinct). According to what I've been able to find, those animals (listed by the letter that their names start with) are: B, J, ~T, U, & Z.
