The Jeffersons was better than Modern Family? Rolling Stone's taste in sitcoms is about as good as its taste in music.

Um, yes. Yes it was.

Somewhat surprisingly, not a terrible list at all. Just a little bit biased toward older shows and against streaming media but that's to be expected.

What a stupid, USA-centric list. Only Fools and Horses, which was voted best British sitcom of all time, isn't even on here. Neither is Porridge or Open All Hours, Ronnie Barker's sitcoms

I mean, it's an American magazine so that's the audience it's writing for. There's a few British ones, though I personally would've place Fawlty Towers at the top, and added The IT Crowd and a few others.

Number 90 is missing its opening “The”.

Reading the article, interesting that they disqualify shows like The Wonder Years but include a show like Spongebob (not that I'm complaining about its inclusion). Also, "Doofenshmirtz" is misspelled.

"Burns and Allen" should be an acceptable type-in. Even with the usual arguments about opinion, great quiz.

Typing "office" or "the office" should give you the UK version as well as the USA version.

Friends is the most overrated sitcom ever.

Wow, I count at least two Canadian shows! Surprised to see any up there if I'm being honest. Not sure about Schitt's Creek but Letterkenny is a pretty quality show. The humour didn't really click with me but I respect it anyways.

I thought I'd do so much better on this. I got 48 and with the exception of me just blanking when I KNEW the answer (30 Rock, One day at a time) the ones I didnt get ide either never heard of,, barely heard of, or just never watched.

And I know I'm in the minority but I cannot stand The Simpsons. I must be really missing something.

It's a crime that Third Rock From the Sun is not on this list.
