For the Indian question, which no one's got yet, it relates to the processing of spices.

This was both fun an interesting, but I would beg you to please accept alternates for "hob" like "burner" or "heating element" or "cooktop". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooktop . This is especially poignant given the clue is leading you towards "heating element", and yet it's not accepted, while just typing "coffee" will get you "coffee jug".

Thanks, that was useful, l'll add those. I try to be lenient with type-ins for my quiz, but I will admit, I kinda rushed this one.

I don't know what Joe is, but assuming it's coffee, wouldn't you use either a kettle or a coffee machine? What's a coffee jug?

Filter coffee, but a perculator and French press could also be thought of as jugs.

Or maybe it's what I know as a plunger (which I did not think of because I don't drink coffee).

I've never heard of a "hob." And the question "what you use when you're really trying" could be anything. Other than that, an OK quiz.

I made this quiz in about five minutes as an antidote to the stereotypical Jetpunk quiz. So yes, it's a very broad question, but in the context I don't think it matters that much. I don't want anyone to take this quiz too seriously, seeing as I sort've wrote it as a joke.

Hob might be British. I don't know what terms Americans don't know.

Should add "vent hood" or "hood" for the extractor fan. That's what they are called in the US.
