The reason it took me so long is because I was singing the songs as I typed them! :)

good idea for a quiz I was going to do something similar myself. I guess I still could since there are a lot of songs and movies out there left. How come you haven't fixed The Jungle Book yet? There's definitely a The in the title, it should at least be an acceptable answer even if it doesn't show up that way in the results.

finished my own quiz if you or anyone else is interested in taking it... you can find it if you click on my name. Look for "Songs From Animated Musicals." Mine includes a few from non-Disney movies.

I've personally always spelled it "Bear Necessities," but that's just me. ;)

Also, only FIFTY percent got "Feed the Birds!?" What kind of a world are we living in? And so few people remembered that movie about the dogs (trying not to have any spoilers).

Yeah I agree with stillnotginger3003 and theLAYTshow. The Jungle Book is the actual title, not Jungle Book. So you should at least accept it as an answer.

I should have gotten Mulan, it's one of my favourites. I blame my impatience and clicking "give up" too early.

Any swede will get Lady and the Tramp easily (provided they know the english name, of course), so I was a bit surprised that wasn't higher. (i.e. I though it would be the same way in other countries)

Toy Story is not a disney movie its Pixar. It wasnt until recently that disney bought Pixar. So for example.,Toyota owns Lexus right. You wouldnt call a lexus IS 350 a toyota IS 350. Other than that its a great quiz. :)

This isn't really a good analogy, as Pixar and Disney are separate studios. Lexus, on the other hand, is simply a rebranding of Toyota that was introduced for international (American, mainly) market because Japanese cars in the 80s had gained the reputation of being small, cheap cars for people on a budget. So when Japanese car makers wanted to try selling some higher-end cars to Americans they knew that nobody would buy a luxury sedan or sports car with the already familiar brands of Toyota, Honda, etc., and they simply invented new brands. Toyota invented Lexus, Honda conjured Acura, Nissan fabricated Infiniti, and so on. The Acura NSX actually WAS sold as the Honda NSX in Japan, and it's the same exact car minus the emblem on the hood.

Pixar is not a rebranding of Disney products it's a different studio that was at first a partner of and eventually subsidiary of Disney.

If you want to talk Lexus and not Acura, the Lexus LS 400 (the first Lexus) was sold as the Toyota Celsior in Japan.

The stupid letter/number designations were another branding move designed to make the cars sound more luxurious and "European"

Every single Pixar feature film has been distributed by Disney, even before it was a subsidiary company.

That doesn't make them Disney movies, though. The Incredible Hulk, for example, is a Marvel Studios film. But, due to contractual obligations, it was distributed by Universal Studios. That doesn't make it a Universal Studios film. And when, a year later, Walt Disney Studios acquired Marvel Studios, that didn't make it quite a Disney movie, either. Once in a while a studio disappears and its properties are acquired and rebranded - or a studio decides that a film produced by a subsidiary should be branded as belonging to the parent studio as happened with, previously Touchstone's, now Disney's The Nightmare Before Christmas. But that hasn't happened to Pixar. The studio still exists and they're still Pixar movies. And it's questionable, in my opinion, if, in the latter case of rebranding, a movie should be considered to belong to a studio other than the one that produced it.

For example Terminator 2 was produced by Carolco Pictures and distributed by Tri-Star. It has never been considered a Tri-Star movie. When Carolco Pictures went bankrupt, the rights to the Terminator movies and franchise were acquired by SkyDance Pictures, which has a deal with Paramount to co-produce and co-finance Terminator movies going forward. That doesn't mean that T2 is either a SkyDance or Paramount movie. I think it still ought to be considered a Carolco film. If a big studio like Universal ever gets full rights to its IP, though, I'm sure that they would attempt to brand it as fully a Universal Studios picture, and you'd see a lot of Terminator rides and others stuff at Universal Studios again, and Terminator bundled together in Paramount classics collections for sale and whatnot. But... they still will never have had anything to do with producing the film.

Might be better if you used the yellow box so you have to type the correct next to the correct song. I got about five of them 'right' even though I had the wrong movie.

Might be a good idea to make this so that you have to enter the correct movie for each individual clue. I got all but two just by typing in as many Disney movies I could think of before I even looked at the song names.

I think you should remove Toy Story, the issue is that though Toy Story is kind of a Disney movie, people associate Disney not with Pixar movies and only with strictly pure Disney movies. People call movies made by Pixar like Toy Story, Up, Finding Nemo etc. as Pixar Movies

I honestly think that Mulan should have the song I'll Make a Man Out of You, because whenever i think of Mulan that is the first song i think of, the only reason i got it was because i was naming off random Disney movies. 14/18 easy enough (didnt know Mary Poppins was a Disney movie.
