I don't think any are too obscure, necessarily (though I hadn't heard of many), but I did think of Independence, Kansas, and Salina, Oklahoma, first. I got both eventually, and the ones I thought of are much, much smaller - I just live closer to the two of 'em. Great quiz!

There's a Carmel in California, as well as Indiana.

The Carmel in Indiana is much larger, so I don't see this as much of a problem.

i missed the four weakest answers that most every missed so I guess you could reconsider those four states. for sure not being in alpha order makes it more difficult as it is hard to see at end what you have left off. great quiz!
