Needs a lot of work. Alaska and Puerto Rico should be accepted by themselves and I'm assuming it's probably the same for the others with the country's name added. If you know what it is the capitol of, then you know the country and the instructions don't say you need to put the region and the country. Belarus, Cyprus, Bahamas, Iceland, Macedonia, Iran, Poland and Nepal all would not take. I can see me misspelling 1 or 2 but not 8. After those wouldn't take, I said screw it and hit the "Give Up" button

I don't know what you're talking about. I've tested every answer and every answer works properly. It's never necessary to specify which country a state is in. Common mispellings also work. The only thing I can think of is that you failed to notice that it was a highlighted-item quiz rather than a random-order quiz.

And South Korea didn't take either, so that makes 9.

Guangzhou and Juneau are misspelled. I like the quiz, though I didn't do very well on the subnational capitals.

Why are there province capitals mixed? Cape Town is controversial too, especially since Pretoria is the administrative capital of South Africa
