Countries That Have The Same Name In All JetPunk Languages
JetPunk has 9 official languages for points: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, and Finnish. Can you name the countries that maintain the same name through all those 9 versions of the Countries Of The World quiz?
Strict spelling. Accent marks are disregarded and do not count as a difference.
Answers are in random order so you actually have to know them.
Côte d'Ivoire is accepted in all languages, but it is only listed as such on the French quiz.
Thank you for the quiz. As a child I learned in my native language Finnish that it is Surinam, but now that I checked, Wikipedia seems to say Suriname. I would still write Surinam in Finnish and Suriname in English.
I'm surprised with German. I take German tests regularly and think of the drastic differences on a lot of country names, e.g., Griechenland, Frankreich, Österreich, Weißrussland, Tschechien. Similarly, Dutch maintains a lot of English spellings where German does not, but throws in a lot of quirky variants on country names that are more standardized in the other languages.
