Love this, thanks. The distinction between HRE and non-HRE can be kinda blurry though, and I wouldn't count it as one country anyway. And Paradox might have missed a few other minor countries. But nevertheless, I'm happy this quiz exists.
Haven't played EU4, just lots of EU3, and the only countries from EU3 that I missed were Moldavia (all I could think of was Bessarabia), the Livonian Order (which isn't present at the start of EU3 in 1399, and Naxos (I didn't see it). This is great work.
Guuessing random counties in Ireland and got Offaly, Kildare, and Kilkenny. Wouldn't have thought any of us Northern counties (Tyrone) would own anything back then...
Would you consider accepting Masovia with an S instead of a Z? I would have gotten that one otherwise. Very cool quiz, I really enjoyed taking it! I especially love the map. Thanks!
I have a hard time knowing what to do with quizzes like this. On one hand, it's an absolute masterpiece of quiz creation. On the other hand, this is really obscure stuff for 99% of the population. But the people have spoken - and now its featured!
Yes, that's understandable. I think my thoughts are that no matter how obscure it may be, there'll always be some group of people who will absolutely love it. And, with this being geography, that group is unlikely to small!
Great work, I'm glad it's featured! It's not hard to get 4 points with just a slightly better glimpse of medieval history of Europe. 5 points - yeah, that's tough. There are so many NBA / NFL quizzes that are 100% obscure to me ;)
Awesome quiz! Do you think you could make a version of this that includes the rest of the map, such as north Africa and the Middle East? (just asking because it would be fun to play)
But that makes it even better. What quiz, of any kind, would not be improved by having one of the answers as "Despotate of Morea, semi autonomous appanage of the Byzantine Empire."? The type ins might be tricky though.
Very nicely made! I'd like to suggest a few missing, but pretty minor states: Republic of Cospaia, the Republic of Senarica, the Principality of Bรฉarn and the Duchy of Saint Sava.
Answer: Nevers!
