I accidentally doubled up one language here... Uyghur also appears on #2. If Quizmaster ever decided to feature either or both of these I'll fix it. Please ask if you want me to make any changes.
Hmm - 28. Not bad. Somehow I wanted Seneca to have something to do with Ancient Rome, but got there in the end. Not sure about Flemish. Is it different from Dutch. If you define Flemish as 'Dutch that is spoken in Belgium', then Belgium is clearly the correct answer. I would also rather assume that most people in Mali are Tuareg - but then perhaps the main issue with Tuareg is that the people are nomadic over large distances. So perhaps there are more of them in Niger for more of the time than anywhere else for the rest of the time.
This was very good. You MIGHT want to try putting the languages in their own language - that should set cats amongst pigeons
Flemish also called Flemish Dutch, Belgian Dutch, or Southern Dutch, is a Lower Franconian / Dutch dialect. It is spoken in the whole northern region of Belgium as well as French Flanders and the Dutch Zeelandic Flanders by approximately 6.5 million people. "
Sanskrit - well there's a source for argument. It says 'spoken' language. Now whilst Sanskrit is indeed spoken as part of the Hindu liturgy; the number of native Sanskrit speakers in India is apparently rather less than 1% of the population.
So could you perhaps have Latin, and suggest the answer as Vatican City. Except can you prove that there are more people who can speak Latin in Vatican than in say Brazil; Mexico or Ireland. Hmm Just a thought.
Nynorsk is not a spoken language, and should therefore not be a part of this quiz. The spoken language is norsk, with two written standards: nynorsk and bokmål.
Your quiz states the point is to "...name the country with the greatest number of native speakers". Since nynorsk is not a spoken language, there are no native speakers of it or a single speaker in general.
Great quiz, but sanskrit is spoken by only a few thousands of people here, around 0.001% or even less. I don't know if that makes it a spoken language.
Why wouldn't those few thousand people count? There's no place else with more. That's the only criteria. Name the place with the highest number of native speakers. Many of these languages are not very widely spoken, even in the countries that are the answers.

Anyway I understand what you're saying. I don't care.
