Lancaster, Victorville, and Palmdale are not satellite cities, not of Los Angeles at least, they are the opposite side of the mountains to the north

They are within Los Angeles County so oddly enough they do count. I also felt a bit weird about counting them as satellite cities, but the guidelines I was using listed them as non-core cities within the L.A. metro area.
