The point of having a short timer is so you have to figure out what state it is before it's fully drawn. If the timer was extended it would be no different from a ''US states by shape" quiz.
I cannot see how the bar can be set any higher, but as usual, you probably have something even more impressive planned. By the way, I love how you made the pen US-colored.
Well actually Leopard's quiz Countries Starting With I, J, K And L got featured in less time than that after publication. That's the only one I know of, but my guess is that some people don't know what quiz to nominate so they look on the recently created to find one they like. If this is correct, there are most likely many others that have been spotlighted in a short amount of time after publication. This quiz though definitely deserved a spotlight and the feature though! I'm happy as an Australian to finish the quiz in the short time limit.
I got one of my quizzes spotlighted about an hour after I published it, and it wasn't even a particularly good one, so I think that basically confirms QuizzerBros's comment.
Good job. 10/10 with 4 seconds to spare on the first try. Maybe its the familiarity of the shapes more so than the countries, where I failed miserably. Maybe it was also because I didn't get Colorado or Wyoming as possible choices.
Getting WY or CO can be a detriment - if you guess the wrong one! BTW, I did guess the wrong one, but still completed the quiz, but with only a few seconds left.
I've taken this four times and Kentucky appeared each time I took this. California, New Mexico, Arizona, Virginia, Florida, Illinois, Montana, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania all made at least two appearances as well.
Great quiz! Can there be a version with all the states included, rather than random (though optimally presented in random order, though I don't know if that can be done)? I would love to see stats for which states are easiest and hardest to guess.
Sure, I can make one for all states, but if it's in a random order I don't think you'd see stats. You could just look at the stats on the US State Shapes Quizzes though?
I particularly felt that this quiz is very easy considering that I am only ten years old. I guess to be fair I love geography and history. History doesn't make much of a mark on this quiz but geography definitely does.
Um, no plans currently, unless you can suggest a good one. Subdivision shapes aren't that well known I don't think outside the US? In places that have a decent number of them at least.
Thanks!
Of course nominated and five stars!!!
Needless to say: nominated and 5 stars!
Great quiz.
Could be little shorter though, I got them all with 45 seconds remaining (though i'm an american).
I don't understand how you do these SVGs, but they are truly amazing.
38% of test takers also scored 100%
The average score is 7
Your high score is 10
Your fastest time is 1:29
Any chance of seeing other countries' subdivisions in future?
I knew it had to border the ocean so helped. Def didn't realize it was shaped like that.
