Good idea for a quiz. Could I suggest that you accept Dante (I couldn't spell Alighieri)? My major criticism is that a list of the 34 best poets of all time should miss out Wilfred Owen, who in my view is the greatest ever to have written in the English language. Read "Dulce et Decorum Est" and tell me that he doesn't deserve to be in this list. Also consider adding St John of the Cross - try "Coplas del mismo hechas sobre un éxtasis de alta contemplación" for example.
