This... Is EXTREME! On April 25th, 1992, Tod Gordon founded Eastern Championship Wrestling, a Pennsylvania-based territory of the storied (but at that point struggling) National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). A year later, wrestling manager Paul Heyman was brought in to assume creative control, who swapped out the word Eastern for Extreme and proceeded to launch a counter-culture phenomenon that would reshape pro wrestling in the 90's and springboard the industry into the Attitude Era. The top prize of ECW was their World Championship, and this quiz tracks all its holders from its Eastern days, through the Extreme years, to the WWE's reactivation of the belt. Can you name all those who've held the title of ECW World Champion?
Alternate spellings may exist for some names that might be more difficult to spell. Wrestlers who appeared under alternate names and characters can be guessed with just one of those names.

"Date Won" means the calendar date on which the wrestler won the title, not the WWE "recognised" date. "R#" corresponds to the cumulative reign number for that respective champion.
Vacant: On one occassion, title was been vacated by its holder. The date relating to the vacancy is when the champion relinquished the belt. The deactivation dates correspond to when ECW initially folded and when WWE deactivated the belt for the second time.
