I guessed Mexico but indeed, Spanish is not legally an official language in this country. I'm surprised :-)

apparently, it's quite complicated. There's a discussion about it on the Official Languages of the World quiz and the quiz itself doesn't include it. Wikipedia, on the other hand, does give Latin as an official language.

Nice one! I would like to see the countries arranged by continent, but would that make things too easy? I am unsure.

good suggestion, I'll think about it. At first, I wanted to sort them by language but it turned out to be quite complicated with countries with more official Romance languages. Thanks for the suggestion! :)
