Four of the five Elven realms founded during the Second Age and one realm founded at the end of the Third Age survived into the Fourth Age, giving us five realms that existed in that period. They were Lindon, Lothlórien, the Woodland Realm, Rivendell and East Lórien. Both the second and fifth one of these were ruled by Lord Celeborn in the beginning of the Fourth Age.

As per Tolkien, Celeborn soon grew weary of his realms and abandoned them. He settled in Rivendell with his grandsons. Similarly, Thranduil, the King of the Woodland Realm, might have abandoned his realm as well, joining his son Legolas in Valinor.

Arwen, the Queen of Gondor (also a granddaughter of Celeborn) died in an abandoned Lothlórien in Fourth Age 121. By that time, Celeborn had already left for Lindon, with Rivendell almost certainly being abandoned as well.

Lindon continued to exist for at least fifty more years, with Celeborn finally leaving with its ruler, Círdan, sometime before Fourth Age 200.
