Salam!

After reading KilwaAfarCheese8's blog about his backstory, I have been inspired to write my own. My name is 곽명옥,or Munok Kak, and am a 24 year old male who lives in Aşgabat,Türkmenistan.

Origins!

I was born in 차모 (Chamo)  village north of 평성 (Pyongsong),North Korea. I grew up and joined the military at age 16, and was made a guard for the Supreme Leader. I decided to escape North Korea at age 17, and crossed the Tuman river into Russia. However I was seen by the border guards, and was chased into Siberian wilderness. After an incident incident with a bear which I will not go over as it violates JetPunk content guidelines, I was brought in by a herd of Musk Oxen, hence the username, and nursed back to health. I eventually made it to the city of Norilsk where I lived and rested for a month while begging on the streets.

University!

While in Norilsk,I applied to universities in many countrie. As my dream was to work in a Government. I was accepted into the Türkmenistanyň Prezidentiniň ýanyndaky Döwlet Gullugy Akademiýasy (DGA) where I studied to work in the Turkmen government. I met my wife there and we have had 2 children. During my 2nd year at university me and my wife took a year long biking adventure, and rode our bikes from Aşgabat to Cape Town,South Africa. I meet many friendly people on this trip, some of whom I keep in contact to this day!.

Work!

After this, I graduated in 2021, and because of my high intellect and test scores, I was immediately appointed to the international relations branch of the government, and I travelled all around in Mexico to help arrange trade deals beneficial for Türkmenistan. After Serdar Bermimuhamedow became president in 2022, due to my excellent work in Mexico I was promoted to directly advice Serdar!

Projects!

I am currently brainstorming for many projects, so keep a look out on my profile for when new projects come out!

JetPunk Elections!

I am using this post to announce my candidacy for the JetPunk Elections! Due to my current experience in the Turkmen government, I think I am a great fit for this role! I have no running mates as of now, but I have reached out to Quizmaster and Stewart about being potential running mates! Goodbye until the next blog!

Absolutely interesting story, you seem to have had a very fascinating life up till this point.

Unfortunately, my interests probably don't align with that of the Turkmen government, so I cannot be your election running mate.

But I wish you all the best, and welcome to JetPunk!

Wow! You have had a both amazing and very difficult life. Your progression is amazing. Hopefully all is great for you now. I hope for you that it will stay as it is now.

During your trip by bike in Africa with your girlfriend, I would have suggested to reach Cape Verde instead of Cape Town. It would have been an incredible trip. But that's still amazing though. Now, you should go to France, because it's obviously the most beautiful in the word, and it shares a border with BRAZIL, so it's obviously exceptionnal. Thanks to this border, you could easily reach Minas Gerais from Paris.

Good luck for the elections! I'm sure that Stewart will accept to candidate with you, if he reads this blog and realizes how amazing you are.

By the way, I lived near Norilsk for 2 years. Norilsk is a bad city. Isolated from the rest of Russia, polluted and prices for everything as space fuel

Anyway, I'm glad the musk oxen took you to it!

(If anything, I know it's a joke, like your whole blog)

By the way, I once saw a beggar. Isn't that you? If so, then I was glad to see such an amazing personality live

I myself am Russian and I live in the city of Livny in the Orel Oblast. I went to Norilsk, it's a beautiful city with very nice people. The only thing I can say bad about Norilsk is that it is an industrial city, known for the natural resources nearby. These resources are Norilsk's problem (polltion , etc).

Yes, the people there are amazing. There's a nice art gallery and a college there. But I wouldn't say he's particularly beautiful. The main street is quite pleasing, but it is not a city of dreams.

As a fellow North Korean who had to pretend to be Chinese for safety, I can very much relate to your experiences. Your story is truly inspiring I must say.

I am especially interested in the bike ride. Wonder how that went and how long it took. I've walked from Aleppo to Yantai and then swum to the North Korean coast recently to meet my family. That trip took me about 5 months to complete, I sure hope something like that would've been a lot quicker on a bike.
