Not all your efforts would be put on full display, because if that's to be the case I'd argue that a lot of other blogs deserve a feature too. And of course, earning one featured blog doesn't guarantee you anything.

What is that overly used thing? What have I overly used!? And one whole point for creativity? Ah.. I see you don't call self-made flags creative or maybe you didn't like my designs, right?

Why should I even write blogs at all if the real efforts aren't recognised huh? Why am I doing this? I think I should give up blogging. And to Bread, obviously that is correct. There are a lot of blogs which seem to have taken a lot of efforts and should've been featured but I was not talking about featuring. I knew it wasn't going to be featured because it could lead up to controversies or whatever.

I am now very much sure I will not be going to release any new blogs now. My efforts go to waste. Why should I waste my time writing all that stuff up? I am wasting my time writing this comment too, so goodbye.

Also, as Nio said, your goal wasn't right. If this was your definition of "waste", then I guess I've (so have many others) wasted a little too much time.

I'm aware that people, including me, naturally hope that their creation does well. But, you really shouldn't be mad if it doesn't (not like second is any bad to begin with).

I really think that you shouldn't get super mad over your scores. Yes, some grades have been "incorrect" before - I've had grades in the past that I thought weren't right, but I rolled with it.

Should you stop blogging after getting second place? No. As someone who has gotten 2nd, 3rd and 5th places, I'm proud of those. Because, I could have gotten worse scores but I didn't. Sometimes you have to be happy with what you have, because you can't always get what you want.

It's a very dangerous and petty outlook to have, because expecting success means you'll get resentful and aggressive later on when realising it did not meet your unrealistic criteria for "success".

In fact, from our perspective, the more people expect features and demand them, the less willing we are to give them. In fact, there have been many people which got one lucky feature early on with quizzes, and then proceeded to email QM with every quiz they made. Eventually they got officially blacklisted by QM and their quizzes unfeatured, because QM didn't want to deal with the constant drama they spawned.

Moral of the story? Create for yourself not for the expectation of others.

What I did was a very childish thing to do. I am stubborn and DO expect a lot for things that I have done. I've realised not to keep expectations with strangers living in continents seven seas apart whom I just know from a username. Not just strangers, I shouldn't have expectations even with the people I know. It hurts quite a lot when those expectations are broken. I am sorry and thankful at the same time.
