Ranking Each Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Harry Potter Movie

Indiana Jones

#4- Temple of Doom

The Temple of Doom starts off weird. A pop star singer in Shanghai and a cook who's apparently connected to Indy is killed by a Chinese business man. It gets a bit better with some of that Indiana Jones action, but then I gets plain creepy when we discover those kali-Ma rituals. They're just plain creepy, especially the part with the guy ripping another mans living heart out. And then there's the Indian cosine, which is slightly offensive to Indians as well. There are gross depictions of Monkey Brains, Eyeballs in soup and people eating live baby snakes that were just cut out of their mother.

#3- Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I think that this movie was pretty good, it's just worse than the other ones ahead of it on the list. I like the Cold War conflict that the movie is based around, and the way the plots come together to include several historically accurate depictions of cultures and events. I think the tie in of Mutt was needed, but I don't think he needed to be involved in the whole movie. But the fact that Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford must've had a stunt double several times) can still move like he did in 1981 is crazy, and the characters and events are probably the best part.

Rating: 3.5 stars

#2- Raiders of the Lost Ark

I was probably debating between Lost Ark and Last Crusade for 20 minutes and landed in this one for one simple reason. The directors and other movie folks were still developing who Indiana Jones was, and how that would tie into the main plot of the movie.

Rating: 4.5 stars

#1- Last Crusade

The reason this beat Raiders of the Lost Ark is simple. The plot.

Ranking: 4.5 stars

Star Wars

#9- II: Attack of the Clones

An traditional Star Wars stereotype is that the prequels stink. And although I think this is fair in some cases, the prequels do answer a lot of questions. But this one answers only one. The origin of the stormtroopers. And the plot is a bit mixed until the end. And that's honestly the best part and it's not that great.

Rating: 2 stars

#8- IV: A New Hope

Okay, I'll make this quick. Although it's the original Star Wars movie, it's pretty boring. No action, like the other 8. It's just now exciting. The only cool part is at the end, and it's still a bit boring.

Rating: 2.5 stars

#7- I: The Phantom Menace

Three words: Jar Jar Binks.

Rating: 3 stars

#6- III: Revenge of the Sith

Revenge of the Sith answers every question that needed to be answered in the trilogy. It has the founding story of Darth Vader, and the birth of Luke and Leia. The story of how Leia became a princess and how Luke ended up on Tatooine. But the reason this made the lower part of the list is because the others are better.

Rating: 3 stars

#4, 2 WAY TIE- VII: The Force Awakens, V: The Empire Strikes Back

The Force Awakens is where we are introduced to Poe, Finn, Rey and Kylo Ren. And it's pretty good, but the reason for it's low ranking is because the others are better.

Classic movie. Great plot and characters.

Rating: 4 stars

#3- VI: Return of the Jedi

This movie is an action packed tale. And it's great. The climax lasts for about an hour and there a bunch of fights and battles.

Rating: 4 stars

#2- VIII: The Last Jedi

This movie is action packed too. We get a much better view of Luke and Snoke, and this is were Rey's jedi's powers really come into focus. I think it really highlights the sequels, and it highlights it well.

Rating: 4.5 stars

#1- IX: Rise of Skywalker

We get a much unexpected surprise with the return of Palpitine and his fleet on his Sith world. Oh, and that fact that Rey is his granddaughter.

Rating: 4.5 stars

Harry Potter

#8- Half-Blood Prince

The plot in this movie is mixed and it's all over the place. Not to mention that a bunch of it is boring. There's also some romance and romantic-comedy theme, which is totally unneeded and un-Harry Potterish.

Rating: 2.5 stars

#7- The Sorcerer's Stone

In much of this movie, we're developing the Wizarding World for the people who didn't read the book. And that's boring. And there's also a stark contrast between the first 2 movies and the last 6. And it's the fact the looks are much different. Dumbledore, Flitwick, Malfoy (Draco) and in the 4th movie, Harry, Ron and Hermione look very different (even though they are played by the same actors). '

Rating: 3 stars

#6- Prisoner of Azkaban

Little action. Little excitement (except for the end and Dementor scenes) and it's just boring.

Rating: 3.5 stars

#5- Chamber of Secrets

Good

Basilisk scenes

Scenes in the Chamber of Secrets

The parts when the realize more people have been parallelized

Bad

Everything else.

Rating: 3.5 stars

#4- Goblet of Fire

Meh.

Rating: 3.5 stars

#3- Deathly Hallows Part 1

The reason this wasn't higher was because of the brief scene were Ron sees a naked Harry and Hermione making out, and the other part in Malfoy Manor during the torture scene.

Rating: 4 stars

#2- Deathly Hallows Part 2

👍👍👍

Rating: 4.5 stars

#1- Order of the Phoenix

I LOVE the parts at Sirius' house and the only parts I don't like is when Harry is possessed by Voldemort and there is that weird part were Harry is looking into the mirror and his face turns into Voldemort and it says "Look at me." and when Sirius shows Harry his family tree.
