Welcome back to Step-by-Step Story! For this prompt, the world has been plunged into a pandemic!

Prompt: The World is Plunged Into a Pandemic

Three days ago, a pandemic broke out in Cyprus. It has spread all over Eurafrasia and killed millions. A case was reported in your city a few minutes ago. All transportation will shut down in a matter of hours. What will you do?

Idk what city we're in but I'm going to assume an American one because Eurafrasia is pretty much everything except South America.

And since we're in an American city, I'll assume that we already own at least 2 guns.

So to start, we go to the nearest supermarket and start grabbing as much food as possible (with our guns)

No. Although McKenzieFam has final say in this, I am against these rules. First, I don't see why exactly we need step numbers. If you have an argument, please explain. Second, we don't have enough participants to make this possible. If we had to wait until a third person posted, it would take much longer to create a story and those who did participate would eventually get bored. As stated above, McKenzieFam is in charge.

Honestly this series has taken a turn for the worse, cause now it’s just utter nonsense with the occasional nuking of Cyprus. Not sure if others agree with me, but this is how I feel.

I agree with that. As one of the organizers of this series, I think that this has not been as good as it could be. We have fewer comments, and those that we do have are just not very good. I am working on some plans to make this better, and if you have any input I would love to hear it.

I too agree with you, ItzIngenious. The first one was the best, and the sequels just aren't really as good (like many movies)

Personally I do enjoy some nonsense, but sometimes you can have too much.

Also maybe lets imagine everyone here is in the situation together, all magically transported to a house in “wyoming” with no recolection or something. I think that’d be more like a story or something. more like a novel maybe. For #4 how about its “wake up in north korea”

Scarcity makes it more valuable. For example, Abby's "every comment changes the world map" was hugely successful because it only happened twice, more than a year apart. People run out of good ideas quickly.
