Introduction!
Finding JetPunk
In March of 2021, I started to really get into geography. I had a globe that I kept on my zoom school desk, and I liked to study it when I was bored. It wasn’t a normal globe though, it was a smart globe. It came with a pen that I could use to tap the countries and learn more about them. It also had mini games. For example, it would name a country and I would try to locate it and tap it with my pen before the time ran out.
After a couple weeks of practicing on this globe, I knew around 100 countries. I decided to have my parents quiz me on geography, with questions such as “name 15 countries in Asia”, or “name 10 European Capitals”. It turned out though, that my knowledge was superior to their quizzing, and I needed a harder challenge.
I started browsing the internet for Countries of the World quizzes, and I came upon Setarra. I remained their, quizzing myself on the countries, for a couple of days. However, I found the formatting unappealing, the type-ins to strict, and the website hard to navigate. I decided to move on.
After browsing Google a little more, I found another website. It was called JetPunk. I instantly took to the site, quizzing myself on the COTW until I could memorize all 196 countries. I then realized that the website wasn’t limited to COTW, and I decided to navigate it more. I found the World Map with Random Merged Countries quiz, and I started to spend pretty much all my waking hours on it. I also found the World Map without 20 Random Countries, and that combined with the one with merged countries started my addiction to JetPunk.
I started quizzing myself on more than geography, and branched out to topics like Minecraft, Lord of the Rings, and Wings of Fire. About a month after I first found JetPunk, I found a quiz I wanted to comment on. I realized you had to have an account to do so, so I created one. In a matter of minutes, I got to level 15 and left my comment. MiecraftMan had been born.
Now that I had a JetPunk account, I quickly realized the amount of things you could do with one.
Quizzing
Creating an account seemed to have unboxed a part of my mind that had been closed before I created my account. Quiz ideas came rushing to my mind like flies to rotten fruit. Sadly, a lot of my first quizzes were bad topics and low quality. My first three or so are now deleted.
After about 20 or so quizzes, I gradually reached 1000 takes, and I made a blog about it. This was my first blog, and I was amazed at all the positive feedback and congratulations I got, even though the blog wasn’t very well written.
I kept making quizzes, but they weren’t getting much attention. I decided to create another blog to see if I could get more attention. Yes, my intentions back then were pretty screwy. Just by looking at caveats and comments on my earlier quizzes, you can see that all I really cared about was takes and nominations :/
Social Stuff
On June 19, my JetPunk career changed for the better. I was invited by ChickOn to Communication Groups, a group where many JetPunkers can talk about random stuff like quizzes, or what their favorite pet is.
That same day, Angbo, an excellent JetPunk quizzer, friended me. I have learned so much about quizzing and JetPunk from Angbo since then.
Well, the other blog I was talking about in the last section, Thank You Quizmaster, didn’t receive too much attention. Looking back on that blog, I am really ashamed of it. I created it mostly for the purpose of attention, and only about 30% of my intentions actually went to thanking Quizmaster. I am super ashamed of this, after all the Quizmaster does. He is the best.
Finding the RUB
I’m not entirely certain how I came in contact with the Recent User Blogs page, but I think it was when I was taking a Minecraft Bosses quiz. I saw the Elder Guardian considered, and I didn’t agree with it. I decided to create a blog explaining why I disagreed with the quizzes choice. I liked how making the blog felt, so I decided to create more Minecraft blogs.
More Blogging!
One day, I was checking Communication Groups when I saw a new user had joined: YakosaysBOT5WANA. I had heard talk about this user’s blogs, but also how he had been banned. It seems he had came back. I saw he already had a couple of blogs on his new profile, and I liked them. He continued to post daily and we became good friends. He helped me with my blogging as well, and helped me get here where I am today. I became part of his JetPunger Games series and his If Countries Were High Schoolers. I even collaborated a blog with him.
At the same time another user named Collin1313 friended me. At first I didn’t really pay attention to him, but one day I was feeling especially grouchy for some reason and left a bunch of hateful criticism on his quizzes. I don’t know why I did it to this day, and I will forever be haunted by it. Anyway, Collin blocked me and I blocked him in return, another bad decision. I then made a big deal about it on the RUB, which was just horrible of me.
It turned out that Collin had a couple of blogs that users were claiming to be plagiarized. YakosaysBOT5WANA had a really loud voice in the people claiming these blogs to be plagiarized. I saw other people criticizing this user, and decided to do the same (again, a terrible decision).
It got even worse though, when Yako realized he had been banned over an argument with the same user on his previous account a few months ago.
Almost Banned
One day I woke up to see that Collin (who had changed his name a couple times since then, and was now called Tigerheart1919) was banned. I also saw that a new update was in place setting more restrictions on who can blog. Yako started arguing against the blogging restrictions but pushed it too far and was banned as well.
The RUB community welcomed me back with open arms, and again, I am super happy of the amazing friends I have here. I began blogging again, coming out with more editions of Funny Newspaper Headlines, which eventually became RUB Times.
Second Brush with Banishment
On November 25th, Stewart came out with another blog, putting me as close to being banned as ever. Oh, how deeply ashamed I am at ever being so stupid that I wrote Jet*unk.
RUB Times
I consider this blog series my best accomplishment on JetPunk (well, apart from conquering a third of Africa in Geopro’s blog series, Dawn of the JetPunk Empires). It is a newspaper themed blog series in which I create fictional newspapers with a humorous theme, as well as informing those who read upon the weekly JetPunk news, and giving them fun games to play.
I think that pretty much leaves us where we are today!
Thank You
Ah yes, the part where you get to feel amazing about being an inspiration in a JetPunkers career.
First of all, I would like to thank ChickOn, who took a lot of my quizzes at the start and invited me to Communication Groups. I would also like to thank Angbo, for becoming my first JetPunk friend and teaching me so much about this site. Also Tamashii7979, for being just a really superb friend. I would also like to thank the amazing community on the RUB: TheNatureThread, Aficionado, MG17, BigGeographyGuy, Ethaboo and ChineseChen. Last but not least, Quizmaster and Stewart, our amazing admins who make this all possible.

QNA
You ask me a question, and I answer it. Ask anything you want, but I maintain the rights to refuse anybody lol.
Anyway, 'grats on 1 year
Here are my questions (Really similar to the questions I asked Thread lol):
1. What do you like better: Quizmaking or Blogging?
2. I know this may be quite specific but what is your favourite moment you have had on JetPunk?
3. What has been the best blog you have ever made on your account?
2. Possibly when I got my first spotlight, or maybe when I found the RUB? One of the days on the timeline, but I can’t decide which.
3. My second to most latest RUB Times.
I’m sure you should say JetPunger Games. Change it before your third attempt to banning lol.
Thanks for the mention!
2. What languages do you want to learn?
3. What's your favorite national and non-national flag?
4. What's the best cuisine?
5. What is the Veggie Caliphate's position with Breaddhism?
6. What's your favorite place in California and why?
2. I want to learn Spanish, so I can decode the insults my classmates throw at me lol
3. Probably Seychelles and California
4. I really like Mexican food, though Indian food is good too if that is what you were hinting at
5. Sure
6. I like the Channel Islands, with all of their exclusive wildlife
1. Who's your favourite musician(s)?
2. Which Indian food would you like to eat for the rest of your life?
3. Do citizens of Veggie Caliphate secretly adore the GIE due to vegetarianism?
4. Who's your favourite quiz maker? And what quiz of theirs is your absolute favourite?
5. What's your favourite book/book series?
2. Dunno, hard to decide.
3. My minions have no knowledge of the outer world and live with the illusion that they are settled on Mars. Jk, they like the GIE and Chilefornia for their vegetarian favoritism and the alliance
4. Very hard to decide. My favorite obviously would be Quizmaster, but that’s a freebie. I also really like Dug’s and overtired’s quizzes, and most of theirs are amazing.
5. Another hard one! I love to read and spend probably way to much time doing it. I’d have to say either Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Keeper of the Lost Cities, Wings of Fire
or any other good book I’ve ever read2. Viva La Vida
3. Stressed Out
That's probably the only question for right now, and congrats for 1 year!
Overall though congrats on 1 year and I look forward to many more of you.
You mentioned above you'd like to go to Australia. What makes you want to come? And would you come to Tassie?
Lol that was 2 q's but anyway...
