Poll: Who is the Greatest Person From the USA?

+3

Intro

This is a poll for all Jetpunkers asking them who they think is the greatest person to ever come from the USA. Inspired by Terestar's blog. There's no wrong answer, so you can submit any person you want.

Requirements

There are only 3 requirements:

1.  They are from the United States at any point throughout its history.

2. It cannot be Quizmaster (Because it'd be too unfair to other contestants).

3. You have to submit their full name.

How to Vote

To enter a person, all you have to do is comment their name below.

To vote for them, just click the "Like" button next to the comment.

Results from Previous Poll

I just realized I never posted the results for the last poll back in 2023. The prompt was, "Where do you think WW3 would start?" Twenty people ended up voting, and this was the result:

Franklin Delano Roosevelt obviously, otherwise the Nazis would've taken over Europe!

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Ever heard of the New Deal that helped many people get jobs and money during the depression?

ever heard of the fair employment practice committee that FDR only passed because African-Americans threatened a march

Everybody did bad stuff. You could probably find many reasons why everyone here is a bad person.

My vote for greatest American is George Washington. He played a pivotal role in helping the nation secure its independence and was very much for the citizens of the nation electing their own leaders, as opposed to the monarchies of the Old World.

you have to use the designated 'html' box for that. not the normal 'text' one. Or just use the 'link' button near the bold, italics, etc menu.

Thanks. Did they change that? I used to use normal text and it would work fine.

@Nickelz, FDR was a great president and person. Majority of Americans on the 1930s-40s would agree with me on this.

Proof: They elected him four terms.

he was an exceptional president for the average American.
