Who will qualify to the 2026 World Cup?

+2

OFC

OFC will finally get one available spot after the winner of the OFC had to win a playoff in order for qualification. Here is the qualifier. The other OFC team will be in the Playoffs section.

New Zealand (105)

CONCACAF

Since Mexico, The USA, and Canada have been automatic qualifiers due to being hosts, There will be 2 slots and a third playoff one. The two countries I pick would be. There would also be two playoff teams.

Costa Rica (32)

Panama(61)

Hosts:

USA (13)

Canada (53)

Mexico (15)

CONMEBOL

CONMEBOL will keep the old qualification system. There will be 6 qualifiers and one playoff spot. Here are the qualifiers:

Brazil (1)

Argentina (2)

Uruguay (16)

Colombia (17)

Peru (21)

Chile (31)

CAF

CAF's Qualification System is to be decided but interestingly enough, They will get one playoff spot, For the first time

Morocco (11)

Senegal (19)

Tunisia (30)

Cameroon (33)

Nigeria (35)

Egypt (39)

Algeria (40)

Ghana (58)

UEFA

UEFA will get 16 nations, Meaning that we'll maybe see Italy after two World Cup Qualification failures. Here are the qualifiers.

France (3)

Belgium (4)

England (5)

Netherlands (6)

Croatia (7)

Italy (8)

Portugal (9)

Spain (10)

Switzerland (12)

Germany (14)

Denmark (18)

Sweden (23)

Ukraine (26)

Serbia (29)

Norway (43)

Greece (51)

Poland might not qualify as Lewandowski is mostly relied on and since he's retiring from an international level, Might not make it. Wales isnt that good didnt do well this World Cup so doubt they'll qualify aswell.

AFC

AFC released a new and complex qualification system, I wont explain it so ill just go straight to the qualifiers.

Japan (20)

Iran (24)

South Korea (25)

Australia (27)

Saudi Arabia (49)

Qatar (53)

Iraq (68)

United Arab Emirates (70)

Inter-Continental Playoffs

The Playoffs are here, 6 teams will go to the Playoffs and only 2 would qualify, Here are the Playoff nations

Qualified:

Paraguay (46)

Very interesting! me not understanding a word, having never followed football. That being said, don’t rush out blogs. I used to do it, and I can say from experience that just taking a half an hour more than you do now (no matter how much you do do now), will make such a impact.

I didn't used to be into football (as a majority call it), but as little as I understand...

The world cup is divided into a few regional leagues. Those who win those leagues go to World Cup. For example UEFA for Europe. The number after each nation is their ranking.

Chile and Italy are probably going to fail qualification even on a Cup with 48 national teams bruh and I cannot remember well if Tahiti is on FIFA or CONIFA. If the first case, I guess it will be more prepared than Solomon Islands.

I’m actually thinking about 2030. For me it should be held in Uruguay, as being the centenary of the World Cup. Uruguay is making a bid with Argentina, Paraguay, and Chile, so it should be great. But other candidates include a three-continent bid of Egypt-Greece-Saudi Arabia, Morocco with pendencies with Algeria and Tunisia, as well as the weird Iberian bid that welcomed Ukraine. Apparently Infantino is gonna like the last one, as we know he is a weird guy

EDIT: Yep, Tahiti is affiliated to FIFA.

I see, I know that Tahiti won an OFC Nations Cup, But its hard for me to pick between Solomon Islands and Tahiti, So I picked Solomon Islands, But who knows. Tahiti has a chance.

Its also cool to see Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay hosting together to commemorate a hundred years of the FIFA World Cup since its launch in 1930.

And the best is that if World Cup be held in Argentina, the 2 reais I reserved to spend on tickets to all the matches will be worth it! Jokes aside, that’s the best bid in my opinion. Portugal and Spain had an amazing project until the point they added Ukraine. For 2034, maybe Morocco could make it, and I’d totally agree on having a three-country bid with Algeria and Tunisia. The three-continental bid also looks interesting, but in my opinion it should have been between countries that share a border.

I see, If Morocco didnt make it 2026, They could in 2030, Meaning its the first nation in North Africa and the second in Africa along with Algeria and Tunisia to host a World Cup, Its also interesting how nations from three different continents bid together to host it, But its mostly better if its two nations that border or two nations that are near by sea.

Honestly, you know there's too many teams playing when Solomon islands gets to a inter-confederation playoff

I know, Six teams, So Solomon Islands might not have a chance as they could be facing teams like Paraguay or Mali who tend to be more better.
