The Great Fire of London happened at the year of 1666. The Great Fire of London started at Pudding Lane, London, United Kingdom. Thomas Farynor started The Great Fire of London by an oven. When he was asleep that time The Great Fire of London started and it ruined the entire city. That time there was no fire in London the streets was narrow and they could shake hands! The damage caused by The Great Fire was immense: 436 acres of London was destroyed including 13,200 houses and 87 out of 109 churches. Some places still smouldered for months afterwards. Only 51 churches and 9,000 houses were been built. St Pauls Cathedral was ruined, as was the Gulidhall and 52 livery company halls.
