Introduction:
I first started thinking about getting JetPunk level 100 about a week ago. I was level 51 at the time, and I thought to myself, "Hey, I'm over halfway to JetPunk level 100." I then looked into it a little bit more and figured out how difficult such a feat would be.
Reality:
When I looked into it more I found this page. JetPunk Points System According to that page, I would need 45,000 points to reach level 100. At level 51 I had 4,000 points. I didn't even have a tenth of the points required to achieve level 100. I did several quizzes over the next few days and got to level 53, which is only one tenth of the way there. I still had 40,500 points to go. I also found out that 93 is the highest level anyone has ever achieved according to this page. User Ranks. With 56 users at that level. That is a very high level and an excellent achievement, yet it is still around 7,000 points away from 100. Level 100 is indeed a daunting task. One needs to have gotten 5 points on 9,000 quizzes.
Method:
I needed a method for finding quizzes I hadn't done yet to get the most points. That's pretty simple to do. I can just press on my level on the top of the screen, scroll down to stats for quizzes and change the filter to all untaken. Then I just go down the list and take each quiz. Even if I don't know anything about the topic of the quiz, I'll take it anyways and try to memorize a couple of answers, otherwise the quizzes I don't want to do because I don't know anything about the topic start to pile up. It seems to be slightly more efficient to find a tag that I know a lot about and filter it into all untaken quizzes and go down the list. Also if I find a series that I like I can get a few points from that. Currently I'm at level 55 with around 5,250 points, over one ninth of the way there.
Just a tip, I don't know if you know, but if you click on "random" at the top of the page, you can customise it to only give you untaken random featured quizzes.
That means you have to gain around 70 points a day to catch that, although once you add in quiz resets, it's more like 80 points a day. That means acing 16 new quizzes every day, or doing half-decently at 25 quizzes a day. With some dedication, that seems entirely feasible to achieve!
Overall, I wish you luck on this venture!
I want to make a blog on how to attain a high level in the future, because with hard work and a willingness to learn, it is definitely attainable for anyone with a decent knowledge of geography.
What I recommend is that you go to your stats page (click on the "56" in your case), and go to "All Untaken". You probably have a treasure trove of quizzes that you still haven't done yet, and try to retake as many of them as you can until you get 100%. Keep going and you'll watch your level go way up.
You don't have to get perfect scores on every quiz, of course. Just quizzes that aren't too large should take you far.
Also don't forget about the featured languages. They provide a great boost (although they do vary in difficulty). I wish you luck with ataining a high level, and I know you'll get there eventually. Just keep going. ;)
go for it @superquizzer
I recommend trying out the quizzes in other languages. When I reached around level 50, I started taking quizzes in German and Dutch, recently I've started taking quizzes in French and Spanish as well. I think the max in total is around 140 so that's quite possible with some sincere dedication.
