The Beginning of the Cryptic Era

The Cryptic Era

Many, if not all, of you are aware of the current bland, uninspiring state of JetPunk’s beloved Recent User Blogs page. And while some dedicated bloggers devote hard work to change this (BigGeographyGuy, cuotak, and YakosaysBOT5WANA, to name a few), denying the fact that something must be done is both pointless and foolish.

In an attempt to make things here on the RUB more interesting, I will be undertaking a challenge that is intended to rivet you with a sense of cryptography and enigma you've never seen before. Let me explain ...

If you take a look at my account, you may notice I'm an unconventional sort of person. World War 6.4 and Fictional Word Definitions/Etymologies are good examples of this, but I even have quizzes with the word "unconventional" in the title, and my SVGs are far from conventional. Thus I bring forth yet another example of my unorthodoxy on this side: the cryptic challenge. For the duration of ten days, everything I say on JetPunk shall be incredibly cryptic, and hard to understand, like a code that changes every time I comment. What I say will often make no sense at all, but it will indeed have an actual meaning behind it. If you crack the code, nice job! I encourage you to test out this cryptography, comment on my quizzes or blogs to see how I'll respond, and watch out for my bizarre comments. And if you're confused, when the challenge is over, go back and ask me what I meant, and I'll surely tell you (I hope). With that in mind, be prepared for the wild cryptic challenge that will ensue. This will take effect exactly ten seconds after the posting of this blog. Good luck. You will legitimately need it.

-ZooTuber

Note: if anyone was curious, I'm taking a break from my Animals of the Week series to write some other blogs (like this one). The fifth edition of the series, Brazil, is coming probably some time in October.

Yes, hay means yes and onononon means no. It seems the cryptic language has several terms for the same word.

Here's my new set of question:

1. Are gibbons monkeys? ;)

2. Where is Sri Jellyfish Tempura? ;)

3. Who's the best blogger on JetPunk?

4. Who created JetPunk?

5. How many countries have you visited?

I. No, to be honest

II. October 24, 1933 (if you're wondering why, if there is any number involved, instead of saying that number I will square it and add 7, to add confusion)

III. (This is just what the Internet said) Rio de Janeiro is close to the mining region, and provided a harbor to Europe.

IV. Don't make me do this

V. No (as in, no, I will not answer this)

VI. I did! I am!

VII. No way I'm saying "are you ready" in archaic Portuguese.

Wow, for who loves Archaic English lol!

And the answers are:

1. ✔️ 😐

2. ✖️ October 24th 1933

3. ✔️

4. ✖️ Because of the European architecture and traditions, the many attractives of nature, production of grapes and chocolate, the cold weather that can make snow, and the Natal Luz Christmas party.

5. ✖️ Because of the Amazon Rubber Boom, where almost all the rubber of the world was extracted there.

6. -_-

7. ✖️ Vosmecê está preparada? (something like this)

And for the 201st comment, I can safely say that the Cryptic Era is officially over, and it was hopefully a nice change of pace for those of you who routinely visited the comments section, and it was fun to see you slowly deciphering this cryptographic code. Now, I am certain that you are indefinitely thrilled that my riveting advanced vocabulary will return to JetPunk. That said, I feel that creating an entire blog for the mere purpose of signifying the end of this era will cause too much of a spectacle, which I don't exactly want, so, in short, if you are confused on any words or phrases I've ever said, do not shy away from asking me. This is your window of opportunity. And as for if the cryptic era will ever return ....
