Got 9. Should have gotten Youngstown...spaced. Guessed Springfield because I think each state has to have a Springfield. At least it seems that way.

It's actually Springfield Township and it incorporates Holland, Ohio, a suburb of Toledo.

Another census round or 2 and Youngstown will be out of the top 20. It had 170,000 or so at one point.

I doubt that. Are there 11 cities in Ohio growing that much that they're going to surpass it? Most of these places are stagnant.

Youngstown really is depleting that rapidly. It was almost 50% larger at the 1990 census than the most recent, 2010, 2 censuses apart. Some suburbs are growing, particularly around Columbus.

Did you know Ohio is the only state with a city/village that starts with every letter in the alphabet? Here's a fun quiz to see how many you can name: http://www.jetpunk.com/user-quizzes/103225/ohio-cities-a-z

The "greater Cincinnati airport" is in Northern Kentucky. Maybe that's where you got confused.

I've lived in Ohio all my life and only got 11! I guess that's what happens when you stay in the same 45-mile radius!

Looks to me as if Ohioans generally try to give West Virginia as wide a berth as possible. At least that's what I can glean by looking at the map... and knowing what I know about West Virginia.

Southeast Ohio is quite hilly/foothill Appalachians, there are no many cities down there except Marietta and Athens.

At one time cities like Ironton and Portsmouth were very important manufacturing centers. Unfortunately, they have seen decline because of jobs being moved out of our country. The pig iron industry was what made Ironton many years ago. Now it's practically a ghost town.

Don't knock WV. I've lived there 20 years, and have met some of the nicest people. I'm originally from Ohio. WV has had some bad leadership, but there are still good people there.

As Europeean, when I do a State City quiz, I can easily find the 4-5 first, and then I randomly write some europeean cities. It almost always works for 1 or 2 :D
