It was really Malzahn that won Auburn the championship in 2010. Chizik didn't want to recruit Cam Newton, but Malzahn recruited him anyways. Chizik wasn't the one making the playcalls, Malzahn was.

The quiz isn't asking for pseudo coaches. It's asking for the actual person that was the official head coach.

"Hired", not "recruited". When you pay someone, it's called "hiring". Malzahn hired Newton.

The 1983 National Championship would've been Tom Osborne's had Irving Fryar not accepted $10,000 to throw the Orange Bowl vs Miami, FL. Everyone who was in Fryar's circle of friends at the time knows this is true. So does at least one of the Miami linebackers who played in that game.

Only missed six slots in the left-hand column . . . but only filled eight slots on the right. I was picturing Jimbo and Dabo's faces, but I just couldn't remember their names.
