I was very close on some of these - water treatment facility, gasoline, fuel, EEG, Cat scan (smacked my head on that one - I knew better ), rocket, nuclear energy, toilet, - would you consider any of these as alternative answers? (Especially EEG and water treatment facility.)

EEG, nuclear power and Cat scan are good suggestions. Toilet would have worked. I think just "rocket" is too easy thought because its really the specific Saturn V rocket that enabled the moon landing, not just rockets in general.

Fridge should have worked. Also, engine and combustion engine should have worked as well.

Elevator and windows should be added, not to mention airplane as opposed to just "Jet Engine"
