Find all universities that operated in Europe during the Middle Ages. You are given as a hint both the country and the date in which it was first recognized as an institution by charter or bull (NOT the earliest date of functioning). For the sake of simplicity, universities that functioned only for some time in the Middle Ages are excluded.
